Minnesota Announces $1 Billion in Road and Bridge Projects in 2018
Minnesota Transportation Commissioner Charlie Zelle announced April 4 that $1.1 billion will be dedicated to state road and bridge projects that will be worked on throughout the year.
First-Ever Forklift Summit Planned for October
The forklift industry is launching its first-ever Forklift Industry Summit as growth in their deployment accelerates at distribution centers and warehouses nationwide. The summit, hosted by UniCarriers Americas Corp., is scheduled for Oct. 10-12 at the Intercontinental Hotel Miami.
TravelCenters Offers Pre-Sale Inspections on Used Trucks, Trailers
TravelCenters of America announced it is offering certified used truck and trailer inspections through its TA Truck Service network to provide both the reseller and the customer with an overall view of the equipment at the time the inspection was completed.
Amazon Plans Fourth Nevada Fulfillment Center
Amazon plans to open an 800,000-square-foot fulfillment center in North Las Vegas, Nev., that will employ more than 1,000 full-time staff. The center will join three Amazon fulfillment facilities in North Las Vegas and Reno that employ more than 3,000 full-time workers.
