Trucking companies are scrambling to find answers in the wake of the Hanjin Shipping bankruptcy potentially saddling motor carriers with unreimbursed costs of $100,000 or more.

Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings Inc., a provider of outsourced aircraft and aviation operating services, has entered into a five-year agreement with FedEx Express to provide it with five 747-400 freighter aircraft for peak flying seasons beginning in 2017 and lasting through 2021.

Daimler Trucks North America plans to open a parts distribution center in the Indianapolis area, a move that is expected to add 45 jobs in 2017.
