Due to the State of Emergency issued for several counties in West Virginia, the Office of Emergency Services has issued a statewide Hours of Service Waiver, which is in effect until the end of the State of Emergency. This waiver was requested for fuel and water deliveries. A copy of the waiver is attached for your records.
Also, the Division of Motor Vehicles has issued an Emergency Waiver of Truck Registration - waiving any requirements under WV Law relating to trip permits, authorizations or licenses required for commercial vehicles operating in the State of West Virginia and transporting water and humanitarian relief to victims of water contamination. Please see attached waiver for required conditions that must be satisfied.

The West Virginia Trucking Association has donated $1,500 to the Southern West Virginia Community College Foundation to help it develop a Military Commercial Drivers License Program.
